By creating an account or using Carême you agree to these terms.

Your account

Keep your sign-in details safe. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you upload. You give us permission to store and process it to run the service, including sending photos to an AI provider for scanning. See the Privacy page.

Cookbooks and copyright

Carême is an index, not a copy of your books. Only upload photos of books you own and do not post full recipe text from books you do not have the right to share. We may shorten or remove recipe text to respect authors' copyright.

AI results

Indexes and scans are made by AI and can be wrong. Check a recipe in the book itself, especially for allergies and food safety.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service, try to break it, or access other people's data.

Changes and ending

We may update these terms and the service. You can ask us to delete your account at any time (see Privacy). We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

No warranty

Carême is provided as is, without warranties, to the extent the law allows.
